I rarely blog twice about the same topic, but this will be an exception. If you read my first blog, you already know my initial impression of Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh. I believe that Dr. Ford has significant food-induced brain dysfunction or CARB syndrome. I believe that this brain disease is triggered by long-term exposure to highly processed food. In my opinion, her brain is impaired to the point where her memories might be unreliable, but I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt and I waited to see if there was any evidence or corroboration to support her allegations. As it turns out there is none, so in my opinion her charges must be dismissed. I also commented on Brett Kavanaugh’s brain function. I speculated that he might have very early CARB syndrome. I was concerned about his obvious love of beer because we now know that alcohol and highly processed food typical of the standard American diet are both neurotoxins and if you combine them over years or decades, the outcome is not pretty.

It Never Ever Looks Good to Lose Your Cool
Along with just about everyone else, I also noted Kavanaugh’s over-the-top anger during his testimony and to me this obvious loss of control is typical for folks with early CARB syndrome. He even acknowledged his mistake himself in his explanation and apology published in the Wall Street Journal. I agree that an aggressive response would be entirely appropriate when falsely accused of a serious crime, but you can be aggressive without totally “losing it”. Over my long career I have had to testify in many stressful court room settings and before various state Medical Boards to justify my medical management of complex patients, especially when I have used the CARB syndrome model to guide me. To date I have managed to successfully do so without ever “losing my cool”.

Lately I’ve Seen a Lot of Clowns, so There Must be a Circus in Town!
After witnessing how these events unfolded over the past week, it is clear to me that Dr. Ford has been manipulated for political purposes and I don’t think she really understands this because of her impaired brain function. I blame the politicians who manipulated this situation for their own gain. I fully support women who have been abused to be able to pursue any means to punish their abuser, but in a Democracy this cannot include making serious charges without any supporting evidence or corroboration. In my opinion doing so should be defined as a criminal act with serious legal consequences. If such a law had been in place, Dr. Ford’s attorneys would have done the vetting of potential witnesses and corroborators prior to making the charges public. In this case they would have discovered that there is no supporting evidence or people who could corroborate her story, so they obviously would have advised her not to make any public accusations. If they had failed to do so, her attorneys could have been subject to possible legal actions from Dr. Ford.

This entire fiasco has been a horrible blemish on our country and democratic institutions and we should never forget the takeaway lesions. If someone is going to publicly charge another person with a serious crime, they must have evidence or other people who are willing to corroborate their story. Those individuals or groups that take advantage of this situation for political gain should be publicly shamed. I certainly hope that Diane Feinstein and the other Democratic clowns who created this mess are listening.

Brett—Dump the Beer!
In conclusion, I not only support Brett Kavanaugh for a position on the Supreme Court, he has my full personal endorsement. The only reservation I have is his love of beer. As I mentioned above, we now know that alcohol in any dose is a low-level neurotoxin that over time can have significant adverse effects on brain function. My advice? Brett, please give up your love of beer and instead spend your valuable love on your wonderful family, your supportive friends and your profession. Trust me, things will work out much better over the long haul if you forget about the beer! If you know Brett or anyone who has access to him, do him a favor and send him a copy of this blog post.
